I'v had that happen a few times too man. the one good thing about my air ride is I can dump the car and then dump the tank so it takes 5 mins to full back up and I have a huge bump at the end of my driveway so theres noway to move it.

Be careful with your Civic, especially with the SiR front end. Just keep in the garage whenever you are home.

Originally posted by Thrill_House I live in the dundas/erinmills area, its pure old people up here and nothing ever goes on.
I live in the east end of mississauga, I don't see much crime around here (yet at least), but the creek im near has had like 3-4 fatal crashes in the past few years. It's the stretch of rathburn just east of tomken.

yeah i'm around your area too and there are some pretty stupid people around here. once during the winter i was driving behind an audi and the driver thinking he had awd was thinking he was king of the road. he floored it many times until he spun across both lanes almost getting t boned by a bus .

i used to have wooden numchucks with metal studs all over.... i once ran out with them after someone.. they never came back.

good thing they ran cause everytime i've trained with them.. i've ended up hurting my arm.. and going back to foam.

now i just keep my kids tee-ball metal bat next to my PC

It is a sad day when you have to worry about a low end production car that is on every street corner being stolen or vendalized.

We as car tuners are all partially responsible for it. Because we all demand parts from "higher end" Civic models, engines, accessories which created a high demand. When the demand is high, if you can match it with supply, this will make you a rich man. So the thieves go out and jack every Civic that can be potentially equipped with good parts, stereo, or an upgraded engine.

Really, we are bring the karma onto ourselves. I have bought used parts, I had demand on the market, and I have had my car broken into twice (it was the same deck, stolen twice, bought it new).

Very few has the financial support to actually modify their vehicles, and most people want their car to look like or perform to a level of their liking while spending as little as possible. That's when the stolen parts come into play. Don't think JDM parts are clean, I doubt all of them are accident half chops. I wouldn't be surprised if a good number of them were stolen as well.

Of course, we all want to protect our own properties, things that we have spend money on with our hard earn cash. But the world isn't exactly a safe place as you thought would be, ain't it?

Or you could have a small camera with a motion sensor hooked up to a computer. The minute it detects any movement the computer starts recording. That way you don't get hours of nothing on a tape.

So these punks *** kids were/are definatley trying to get my rims, I notcied today that one of my locknuts was missing! And no it didnt just fall off, that bitch was on tight. Oh yeah and if you kids are out there and listening know this, with in the next two days I am going to by adding a mercury tilt switch and a 3rd 32 watt siren to the alarm system, that and carefully placed razor blades throughout the interior of the car.
