just to let u know if u have a camera and ur car gets broken into anytime and its on video the police will not do anything, what so ever. Reason why i know is b/c it happened to the guy that lives in my basement. last summer some ppl broken into the car and jacked everything expect the deck and crossover (alpine) b/c my friend made sure no one could get at it without taking the centre console out. Anyways back to the story i set up the camera ever since my parnets cars were vandilzed (sp??) and that happened shortly after. we reported it to the police and told and wrote on the report that we have a video. the **** thing is that it has been almost a year since it happened and never got 1 call...but when my parents car got vandilzed they called cuz we had a feeling who it was and we were right on top of that. My point is that u can have all the video cameras and sensor all set up and they will not do a single thing. last week my friend that lives in the basement his window was smashed too tried getting the deck and they didnt take a single thing cuz they thought there was a stereo in there cuz the trunk was all moved around...btw it has happened so many times to my friend. Police rather stop people speeding and have "nice cars" (modded means) and not drive around an area or even take proof and use it to stop a theif thats running around and about making a f'in living by damaging other peoples things that they worked hard for. btw for people that have cameras it is still a good thing b/c u can get it brightened yourself by a professional and see who it is and maybe it might be someone you know. and if its not you can still make other people aware and post a pic of the person so others know and to be watching out if he/she has something of yours
