About 10K now and will have about 40K in 2 years and some of it will be spent on a wedding. The rest will just be there for whatever it needs to be spent on.

hmmmmm...let's see now...hmmmmmmm. yep, i'm 43k in debt from student loans and that doesn't include the interest, which is piling up. but i'm almost done paying off the car, woohoo! btw, i'm 27. i won't be able to pay anything off until after i graduate and get a job. so, basically, in a couple of years when i'm 29, i'll still be 43k in debt and living with my mom, but at least i'll have a piece of paper saying that i have a phd

I'm 20.
I have my own place.

I am in debt a bit.
Don't have anything saved right now.
The next couple months are going to be hard because I need to get adjusted to my rent how it is.
It'll go down after the first 4 months.

I can get out of debt hopefully by the beginning on summer next year.
That is if I finally call my cousin about another job.
And stop spending money on stuff I don't need.

I've been doing a good job so far though.

I have RRSPs through my work, but other than that, I only have what's in my chequing account, and that is my daily account.

I could have had a lot more money in savings, if I hadn't travelled so much last year, but I don't regret doing that one bit!! Yea sure I'll have to take out a larger mortage, or wait a bit longer until I can afford a house, but "experiencing the world" by seeing what it has to offer is priceless.

I still enjoy the modded CRX. If you can afford it, keep it, you know that civic in stock form is still in mint condition! Just dont swap the motor...drive it till she dies!

You paid off the car so its all good. Thats why I sold it to you, scrapped the 240 project, and bought the rex...

Now livin DEBT FREE and a condo in my possesion!

I'm now debt free (sold the house) and I have some RRSPs (not much, maybe $4K?) and I've got a lil something on the side ($1X K downpayment for a house in the future).

this is all likely going to a house in a few years.

I'm 18 and school is starting again this year...I worked full time this summer and spent almost all the money on paying off my car/tuition and books...during school i only work part time (maybe 20 hrs a week @ 8 bucks an hour). So i dont have a lot of money to play with, i still manage to save up a lot...which a good portion will get spent on my car, which makes me happy.
