I've been packing and getting ready to move. I never realized how much junk the wife and I have accumulated in the 3 years we have lived in our apartment. Little things like CD cases, greeting cards, instruction manuals, old clothes, dishes and all kinds of odds and ends.

The only furniture we need to move is our TV and mattress and box spring. Everything else is going in the trash, getting left behind for my buddy who is taking my place and has nothing and my brother-in-law who needs stuff too.

We bought an entire house load of brand new furniture for the new place and we gots lots of kitchen and bathroom stuff for Xmas this year.

I'm also debating on what to do with my 03 Civic. The lease is up soon and I kinda want to get rid of it. The big debate is what to get to replace it. Little SUV, another 6th gen like my old car, new or used or maybe just a beater.

I'm also considering a career change. The Casino is starting to get real boring and with all of the budget cuts backs, some people might be jobless. I'm still waiting to hear from Toyota about a potential job and the wife keeps bugging me to give a career in Policing another try.

Real life sucks.

Talking about job changes, i went to a career expo in Vancouver yesterday. All of Canada's mining and energy companies were there, I was looked into working in Ft. Mc Murray. One company i talked to offered me a $20,000 signing bonus and $15,000 one time payment for relocating there if i'd be willing to sign a contract! btw im a licenced electrician, they aren't offering these jobs to unskilled workers....
