ha. there was this guy in my highschool, always talked like, 'my eee-f wid a zed-c can handle your zed-2-4' to the next guy.

anyway. the guy used a sock as his intake filter, held on by mad rubber bands cause 'it sounds crazy!'

it did sound crazy, and i envy his ef w/ a zc till this day.

let me get this right.. this guy is standing there with an empty oil jug in his hand and he is like uhhh dam.. the cap fell.. uhhhhhh **** what do i use.. and he scowers around looking for something.. cant find nething.. (lightbulb goes off in his head). i got it! takes off his shoe and grabs his sock and stuffs it in the hole... then slips his shoe on..(or maybe he left it there?? he did plug his oil with a sock) drives home with 1 foot sockless... ohhh priceless!

I don't get it....how can someone be so stupid? It's mind boggling. IF the sock was somehow secured...what's to stop the oil from being absorbed by the sock and just spilling into the engine bay???

I mean my god, I can't even wrap anymore words around it.

LOL it is funny, i must admit, and it was a dumb thing to do.

But you can't help but feel sorry for the guy.

Like many have said, his story is soo widely known now on the net amoungst car forums. . .

Poor guy. he admitted he was stupid for doing it, it just takes another stupider person to post it everywhere.....

the internet....i tell yah. . .

LMAO who has the time to make up pictures??? But hey atleast they are funny as hell for all the rest of us. I don't understand why he was doing an oil change somewhere else and not at his house. You'd think if someone has the brains to atleast do an oil change they'd have more common sense then this. Then again yesterday I tried using a timing light for the first time and I couldn't get it still after 30min. Now I gotta take it to a shop Anyone want to make a photochop of me trying to use a timing gun?

i think hes mainly stupid for owning a car WAY over his money limit. if he cant afford a repair on a car like that, he shouldnt own one.
