I'll have Altech check all that out next week.. If its a mount it shouldn't be too bad if I just take it easy on the car for a lil bit.

In fact it wouldn't really surprise me all that much if it was... but its a fairly cheap solution to fix.

OK

it's now after 5 and I'm still a little foggy upstairs...

just went the Crappy Tire to get a small can of paint...$40 later. I got a real problem w/ the place...I just can't seem to go in there and ONLY get what I want... I ended up buy shop rags, leather cleaner, ANOTHER can of WD40... WTF is wrong with me.

I got the same sound in my car too. I'm pretty sure it's a motor mount or the driveshaft in my car (cause the drive shaft needs to be replaced anyways). It's like a 'BUNK BUNK' noise when you start moving the car. Sometimes happens in between shifts

Yeah thats it dude!! Thats exactly the noise...

"bunk bunk" or "clunk clunk" or whatever.. sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't...

I can't really see it being my drive shafts since I have NOT really placed them under any real strain but I believe HappyB16 has gone through two so it COULD be that (shrugs)...

They are relatively cheap as well so its not too bad of a worry.

I will find out Tuesday.. Have an appointment at Altech first thing in the AM.

Regards,
OK

Well - for me there was no 'bunk bunk' noise... or maybe there was but I was too busy cursing and screaming and freaking out cause it felt like my wheels we gonna fall off. Breaking a shaft is no fun at all - it gets a bit wobbly.
