Our society these days is more then f* up. But having babies at these ages seems to be the cool thing. Its a fad, with all fads it'll come to an end sooner or later.

oh man... i don't read this thread in 2 days and it gets interesting
my take: The parents do play a role. If i was rich and famous (soon soon) and my parents saw me on the news getting drunk and making an *** of myself, they would be at my front door waiting for me with a baseball bat. That's what parenting is about. Britney has gone through 2-3 years of craziness, where were her parents then entire time? writing a book about being good parents? Now her sister is pregnant at the age of 16?
you can't say the parents had nothing to do with it. Im not holding the parents 100% to blame, but they are still the parents. If they aren't going to lead a child down the right path, who is? the media?

If your going to blame anyone, blame brittany, shes her older sister, her role model, and look at her. Obv her younger sister is going to end up doing something stupid. Either way she made a choice, she lives with the consequence.
Yes its sad that shes 16, but who is to say that it wont be better then a lot of american families. She can proved for her family, and im sure she'll be a decent mother as long as she stays aways from drugs and alcohol.

^^ Yeah the book is on hold now, till they get the rights to re-name it parenting for dummies.
The book isn't about how to raise a child it's about how to raise a "Brittany Spears". I personally think that the whole familly is to blame. I also think that anyonwe having a child at such an early age isn't smart enough to raise a child (although going to the same school would help keep an eye on the child). As Brits parents, if the crash a car into a tree, it's a mistake but still there fault, the kid is only 16. Brittany, sure, she's large to blame because she's an increadibally bad role model. Mostly it's the kids fault though, she's the one who had sex. just cuz her familly put the gun in her hand doesn't mean they made her pull the trigger.
I really don't care if you've got Bill gates money or if your the janitor at a **** theater, kids with kids is still trash. You think that Brittany and her sister are messed up? wait till their kids are older then you'll really see messed up.
It just goes to show you can take the girl out of the trailer park but you can't take the trailer park out of the girl!

yo honestly who the f* cares...like ok shes 16 and she having a baby, shes not the only person! theres dumba** 15 year olds and people b/w the ages of 15-19 having babies and no one seems to care about that. But as soon as a celeb does something the world points fingers. Bunch of hypocrites in my opinion! My opinion leave them alone, your not perfect urself!
