the porsche is the only mid-engine chassis there.. i don't even know where the dillema lies in this case, it is clear cut as a bright sunny day

i'm honestly not a fan of the z3 or z4. i would personally go with the g35 (in black of course ) and then the 350z and porsche next. The porsche is nice, don't get me wrong, and it does increase your street cred, but just the sound of the g35 when it accelorates is like nothing else.

wow. Thats a tough considering the choices. I'd go with the porsche. Simply because I see those other cars alot and well..I think I see all those cars, but a Porsche is a Porsche. The ladies will like it. Oh and its a convertable. The s2000 is, but..its not a Porsche.

well, if your looking at the G35, I wouldn't even look at the 350z (very similiar cars, except the g35 is nicer/more expensive, atleast thats my understanding of it).....either way both of those would be my first choice.....
then the s2000, just because it looks like a lot of fun to drive,
then the porsche, 3rd because I think it will cost more to run and fix than all of the others,
Then the BMWs..

oh and 0-60 the S2000 is 0.2 faster at 5.5 seconds.
1/4 mile the porsche is 0.2 faster at 13.9 according to many on-line stats and motortrend. Handling its .90 vs .93 for the porsche.
I think I would actually take the S2000 over the porsche now, before I was thinking boxster would be better but Honda is easier to modify and that 9000rpm would be fun

what i meant was, if i were to shell out for a porsche, i would get a carrera or a gt2. i would never get the bottom of the line model. although, yes, that bottom of the line model is still a friggin porsche.
oh, and the porsche cant hit vtec... case closed.

"Porsche, there is no substitute"
The BMW's are underpowered and a chicks car too. Whenever I see a guy driving one I think "homo". The G35 I wouldn't even consider sports car. They are very nice though, but I'd take the 350 over the G.

I think it depends a lot on what you want to do with the car. If you are not looking for a car to modify a lot, then I would defintely say the Porsche. That would be a sick ride, but I don't know how much aftermarket support there is in terms of modification, unless you are going to shell out big money for RUF parts or something.
However, if you are looking to modify it, then I would say either the 350z (nismo parts from the dealer) or the s2000 (jdm stuff).

From that list it would be between an s2000 and a porsche for me.
On one hand, I have always been a big fan of porsche. First off their design is simply ingenious, although I prefer a lot of the older models, like the 944 or 968.
Porsche is sort of like the epitomy of an everyday sports car. It has great handling, power, luxury, and it can be driven in all four seasons. In addition, the porsche brand is almost synonymous with performance, if you tell someone "I drive a porsche" immediatly they imagine an open road, somewhere on a mountain side, and your porsche just revving its guts out.
On the other hand, I see the s2000. It's a phenominal performer given its lightweight status. The image is not as glorious as a porsche, but then again, not a POS by any means.
Just like the porsche, it has great handling, power, and luxury, however I do not see the s2000 as a great all season performer. The s2000 does however have great aftermarket support, like any honda product. If you plan to do extensive work on it, your life might be a bit easier with a honda.
Since these cars perform so similairly, and have the same to offer, it is a tough choice. In the end though, I think it becomes a choice between image and potential. Thats something only you can decide, because it must suit your needs. My needs would probably draw me towards the porsche, but only by a fraction so small, I couldn't even compute it.

id go with the 350Z first, porche 2nd. everytime i see a boxer i think 'eh, wannabe'
the 350 sounds sweet, and isnt exactly gutless.
Horsepower – 300 HP @ 6400 rpm
Torque – 260 lb-ft of torque @ 4800 rpm
Acceleration (0-60 mph): 5.93 sec.
and unlike the porche, with nismo products everywhere for you, if you feel the need to upgrade, you can do it without dropping the bank on it. seems like a car you'd enjoy more in the long run.
s2000 is a chick car. its the honda version of the BMW's.(also chick cars)
