To the guy that said it's slow, completely stock the car will run a 13.9@101 with a decent driver, show me a car that can do that built by honda, all you got is the S2000 which costs 20K more As for the car beating ZO6's, it can be done, nobody on SRTForums said it's been done in a stock car, With $2000 CDN the car will run a 12.5-12.8 on Drag radials, again show me a honda that can do that with so little money invested. The engine is not unreliable, it's a completely new motor, it's strong as hell, the stock block is used in the Drag SRT 4 which recently ran low 8's

As for reliability, I'll believe it when I see it...
You can't compare a race engine with a daily driver, since they are for different applications and race engines get rebuilt every few thousand kilometres ( If that), have to compare apples to apples.
Is it a good bang for the buck? Hell ya.
Would I ever consider buying a Neon? Not until the engines are deemed reliable.
IMO Dodge engines don't have the reliability of Honda, Toyota, BMW or VW or MB.

But to each their own.

If anyone can turn Dodge around it's MB now that they control Dodge...

My 2 cents....:santa:

the motor hasnt even been in production a year yet, noones in any place to say if its reliable or not... one just assumes its not because of dodges general reputation for being a unrealiable automobile...

Only time will tell...
