All im saying is.. no proof was found that he was at scene of any crime... and also 3 jurors were removed from that case simply because they were black...This was in the 80's, not so long ago..

I'm not justifying his actions but merely pointing in GENERAL the incarceration rates of whites vs blacks. Blacks make the minority of the population but make the majority in prison.

before you start playing the race card you should ask yourself if some guy black, or white, walked into your family run hotel and murdered your entire family for whatever measly money was in the cash register; then was convicted, sentenced to death...would you want him to see the light of day again?

and like i said before, he murdered another guy at a 7-eleven then bragged about how cool the gurgling noises the guy made as he died, the threw acid in a guards face to try to blind him..the man now has permanent chemical burns on his face, he threatened the jury, he engaged in many prison fights and one time was caught with a weapon that would most likely have been used to kill the other prisoner, and is believed to have ordered several murders from inside prison...

he claims to have renounced his affiliation with the crips, yet wont give police any information about the gang that could take out some key people..other murderers.

....did you think maybe the guy changed just to clear his own plagued conscience, thats being selfish. Sounds like this guy didnt care about anyone else but himself.

Let me point out that the reason why more white people are on death row than black:

Majority of black people in prison are there for property/misdamenor offences whereas white people are there for more heinous crimes. (Murder{serial killers})etc...

In other words, black people are not on death row as much as whites because the crimes they commit are property offences.

yes, it is true the representation is disproportional, but that has to do with the fact that blacks are marginalized, generally live in poorer crime ridden neighbourhoods and for various social and economic problems tend to commit lesser, more visible crimes.

are you suggesting that those are innocent people being thrown in prison simply becasue they are black? because as far as i am concerned a criminal/convict is a criminal/convict no matter what race they are. if a black man gets caught and ends up in prison, then thats just the way it is.

So in conclusion, blacks tend to commit a disproportional amount of crime relative to their population size. Thats the only valid conclusion to your statistics. There are numerous reasons for that (i listed some above), and those are the ones that need to be addressed.

why are you making this into a race issue? this is a criminal issue... ie: people who have no moral objections to killing you, taking your posessions and have basically no RESPECT for any of us.

what exactly is your point here? you have all these facts, but what is your ultimate opinion that you are trying to convey?
