Star gazing?

Anyone go tonite? I went out with 3 other people and we didn't see jack schitt However we encountered a very nice cop who pointed us towards a spot where apparently other people say some

But when we got there, we saw jack So we just split

some shooting comets and possibly fireballs apparently were supposed to peak tonite, but we didn't see anything

ooooooooooooo.........I see them........theres one, and another........and another...........pretty.


It's becuse we are travaling through an asteriod belt/field. Only happens every once in a while.

WHOA you guys are up early (or stay up late?)

Anyway i didn't bother looking out, since it's cloudy here anyway.
Last time i stayed up and tried, but it was cloudy all night long.

They say if you go up to Northern Ontario, you can see it better.

we went as far as Aurora and we still couldn't see anything, it seemed though as it got later (earlier) through the night, the more clouds there were and we weren't able to see anything

I stayed up to watch the meteor shower but the cloudy conditions made it impossible to see anything. :cry:

this is the only pic I could find. Apparently Canada and Europe was screwed due to cloud cover...so we all stayed up for nothing. Here is what we missed

I'm pretty sure all of Southern Ontario was cloudy..

Too bad, i heard it was supposed to be nice...Like the meteors were supposedly close enough to damage some of the satellites we have in orbit around Earth..

Ah wells...lets all wait another 5000 years
