Stereotypes
Any idea where stereotypes come from or are they somewhat true?
White guys have no rhythm
Asians can't drive
Jews are penny pinchers
Blacks love fried chicken
Latino's are lazy
Koreans own all the variety stores
This thread is not meant to degrade or be insulting, it's an honest question. At work we came up with a few answers:
White guys generally don't have rhythm and wedding tape shows that
Asian immigrants are poor drivers, possibly due to the new societal norms/system
Are jews really penny pinchers? I know I look for good deals and I'm not Jewish!
Blacks and fried chicken has been spoofed for so long, no idea where it came from
Latino's are lazy? No clue where thats from
Koreans and variety stores, i do see but think thats because they're one of the few cultures that has a strong work ethic.
If anyone has constructive posts please do so otherwise leave it alone. It would be nice to get some feedback from other ethnicities, cultures, etc.

nah its jus all have some amount of truth to them. sterotypes are jus based on what people themselves seem to see certain races do or act or whatever
i love stereotypes, gives me races to blame **** on that i should be blaming myself for lol

to stereotype the whole asian culture of not knowing how to drive can be rather vague...i think only a certain portion of the asian culture fits in this category.
Many developed asian countries use automobiles as the main means of transportation. however, keep in mind that in "western" road rules/regulations do not apply in some of these countries. ie.. signaling when turning..etc? similar to what you'de find in new york city..its total kaos..everyman for themselves..**** the rules.

the problem with stereotypes is that alot of them are true about any ethnic background.. but they are pretty funny. most white guys do not have rythym, most people are bad drivers, everyone likes fried chicken. i always make fun of every ethnic background including my own. its just for laughs.
, cant stand KFC though..
