if you don't know where the wires have swtiches on them... you can just change the hub..... you need circuits closed, no?

i don't know much about starting cars.. but what I stated power doesn't effect an open circuit cause it won't work anyway.

Like my friend has an oldschool immobilizer in his trunk. you can't really tell from looking under the dash. the immoblizer key snaps onto his keychain. You won't be able to figure that out in a minute or less.. not for a while I would not think.

i have this idea....

well you know how the boomerang will know your car is being stolen if it starts or moves without you being in it (because you have that thing that has to be near the car when you start it) anyways.. what if you had your car set up so that when you turned it off all the brakes locked and can only be unlocked when the car starts...but what if it was also set up so that if your car starts without you in it the wheels brakes would stll be locked.

I think this would help especialy with getting your car towed.

woudln't this be pretty much perfect??

let me know what you guys think..there has to be away to stop these dicks...

Locking all the brakes will make no difference. If they really want the car, all they have to do is use a flatbed and pull the car up the bed, wheels locked or not.

actually... locking the breaks is not a bad idea... yeah.. granted if they wanted ur car they would take it... but that goes for any car...
what you are really trying to achieve here is to make it suck a PAIN in the *** to deal with that they wont bother cause it might be to risky...
I like the break locking idea... but u would then need to basically have an e-break cable going to every wheel, and then some sort of electric motor, thats hidden to pull the cable tight when the car was not turned on by the actual driver.

after all these debates about the best alarm to get or best way to make your car safe, i think that hired goons are the way to go. that way you can have your car normal the way it is without boobytrapping the thing and only have to worry about ****'s bribing your hired goons.... to which u could install a camera over the porch or garage... then remove the goons....

ok skip the goons,
get a small camera implanted. "smile your on candid camera"

keep pipebombs under all your seats and have them set to go off if the alarm is disconnected.

so I take it, its fully gone(not recovered)?
although it is early i guess.

kill switches do wonders and so do a lot of little things to slow them up however if they are gonna flat bed it..you are pretty much SOL.

air bags might help for a minute
