StopLight - wiring

I picked up a stop light.. and Im gonna mount it in my garage. All the bulbs are typical 120v bulbs, but does anyone have a wiring diagram for it that would allow it to turn say.. the red one on for like.. 5 - 10 seconds, then yellow 5-10 seconds.. then green for another 5-10 seconds?

And what is the cheapest way? Timing relays cost too much for me.. so..

Thanks for any help.

it's not hard to do .... just need a timing circuit and a few relays ... you want it to cycle right? 5 seconds each and over and over again correct?

I'd sugest looking up a 555 timer and get some double pole relays and a counter chip (working on the chip number now) and a 3 to 8 decoder... (working on that too)

then it's just how you wire it all up....thats the fun part...

i could design one, i just don't feel like it. The agastat relays I use in school are too expensive for my purposes.

all you need is a double pole relay where it doesn';t take too much current to activate .... la la la this will be easy I have to go to Active electronics today so I'll see what I can find to design with ...
