repost dont really need to be pointed out, most people dont go beyond page 1. just deal with it, if you dont want to post in the thread then dont but there is no need to start arguing about reposts. im sure most of us are adults lets act like it. so there, im taking my ball and im going home. :P

Michelle...that is exactly what i was trying to say. Does it really matter if there are two or more threads on a subject and that is too..in the chit chat forum.
The mods might consider restricting comments like 'this is a repost' as it really the attention away from what being said. On the other hand...i do believe that posters should check first if there is a thread going on on the same subject...but what the heck.
Anyway...i believe most of us do not have a problem with it and this guy TR has a special problem.
Coming to the subject....i attended a final community get together and fund raiser this morning in scarborough. A group of lawyers present on the occassion were saying that gettting a15-20 yrs behind bars is difficult as it is not a first degree murder. If these folks are even convicted for a third degree, they may get anywhere b/w 5-7 years behind bars. Whatever sentence they get, it should be an eye-opener for everyone.
Im feel contended that there is so much media attention around the event. Only time will tell how good or bad our justice system really is.

Let me be clear. If there are two posts or more about the same topic it will just put other posts further down the list.
Just like the classifieds. Why do you think anyone says REPOST OR IBTL or DELETE or whatever? Its to be fair to the other poster and also have more people viewing the other posts.
And yes Steve your right most people dont go to the 2 or 3 page....thats EXACTLY the reason why there shouldnt be reposts of the same damn topic because the majority of the people wont bump up the old thread which was probably in almost every way is more interesting then a double post but didnt get enough views because some smartass who thinks my name is ek9 decide to post a new post about the same topic AGAIN.
Oh btw sry if i have offended any of you admins and mods by telling it how it is. Thats just me. And i guess trying to help this site grow by making it actually USEFULL is probably a bad thing...afterall a forum guest shouldnt be telling the admins and mods what to do....right?
