I'm sorry but I hate when two people racing through traffic is called street racing.. that's retarded.. street racing is like drag racing.. just on the street.. maybe these guys were going but why would they be turning? they're just idiots.. it gives the whole scene a bad name and lets the cops give false info to the general public.. this is not the street racing that they're talking about like what happens up in woodbridge.. not to say that either are okay, cuz they're not but its totally not the 'street racing' they're talking about.. these things are the reason why everyone gets raped on insurance, pulled over and harassed by cops, cracked down on at shows, etc..

yeah, its one thing to have some fun in the twisties on a back road...a whole other to drive like an idiot on a busy highway.

on a backroad if ya loose it, ya ditch it and move on...on a highway it could be a 20 car pile-up just like that or ya take out the family in the mini-van who didn't expect fast and furious skills to plow them into the median.

its a shame, but idiotic driving, street racing...whatever you want to call it is not going to ever go away, but its like anything else...throw some stiff *** fines ($20K) and jail time and it certainly will help. hard to afford that new turbo when you owe $20K for a stupid move in the past.

Its getting bad when just owning a modified car, especially import makes you in the same group as these idiots. Cops will ticket, ricers will race...F&F will promote it, not much that can be done except ERASE and PACER.
