solid turk... insurance and cops.. 2 things you will have bothering you on a daily basis.

just imagine cops leaving your area when they find a bag of money instead of ticketing your customers..

educate yourselves.
I stand partially corrected. I was talking about my friend's 2003 z24 which does have the same engine as the regular base-model Cavaliers offered in the 2002-2004 generation. I wasn't aware that z24's before 2002 had different engines from the base models. I don't know lots about z24's, only what my friend has told me about his, and that generation uses the same engine with the same output for z24's and base model.

actually the z24 was no longer after 2002. 2002.5-2005 they were called ls and ls sport. sport having the appearance package. z24's after 2002.5 are jus dealer badging, as the actual term for his car is the ls sport.

Soild Turk, go get a zoning plan and find out which area is zoned for such racing activity if you really want to open up a drag strip.

I can imagine you need a large land that has enough buffer zone to filter out the noise, air pollution, and a large parking space. I can imagine such land is rare in Toronto.

Condone street racing all you want, every generation does it......your parents definetly did I am sure. However if people are going to do it at least do it somewhere away from anywhere that someone innocent will get hurt. I do not street race and I am not endorsing it in any way.

Man its so ****ty when this happens.. Cops start to up the lookour for anything that "looks" modified. Insurance companies like to use it for a reason to raise insurance for people under 25. Just stupid, this was probably a stock cavalier with the driver having nothing to do with the scene or street racing in general. Just another dumb *** kid trying to boost his ego.

oh btw. this accident was in the Toronto Sun.
1 large picture of the Chevrolet with it's top practically gone and a firefighter tending to 2 of the individuals in the back seat.

the other 2 individuals were already flown to hospital. and were in ICU.
