Street racing has droped dramatically compared to like 10yrs or so. I remember when i was younger like 16 or so and they used to race on the 407 when it was free for a while. They would just stop in the middle of the highway and stop traffic. Now thats ****ed up.

Ossama Bin Laden setting up an illegal street racing training camp near Brampton. Alleged suicide street racers seem to be on the rise. "We must counter act these acts of terrorism"

taken from TI
made me laugh

all this no street racing laws, will just backfire...

1) it will cost use tax dollars more money to send all these people to court
2) think about those people who have alot of money invested into their engine/car etc.. i m talkin like 20k + do u think those people are just going to pull over and let their cars get crushed?? which will lead to high speed chases, then possible fatal crashes...

and as for a opening a track in the GTA i dont think it will solve the problem, because i think its more of the whole street racing atomsphere people like, such as other modified cars, late nites, etc...

like i said at the meet, bin laden isn't actually "hiding" as some would say..."he's actually hiding behind the wheel of a JDM integra type r right on the front lines of the street racing scene along with his other al quida (sp?) buddies.....

go there..problem solved.

you have to realize that just because its an hour away doesn't mean the problem solved.

cause most people don't go because of several reasons.
if they go and break something than thats a 200 tow..
and no neighboorhood mechanis that you know.

or you can trailor it up, but most people don't have trailors..
so there's alot of variables that could exist,
i mean
if you amke a track down here
think of it as a plus plus

why??

1. people will actually more likely go on the track.
2. if cars break down, its local, 100 doller tow bill.
3. mechanics within an hour can help you fxi it if anything
4. parts are easily availbae of car breaks down on the track
i can list other reasons but i mena.
these are some.

The only difference now is theres more people in the city and stupid movies like fast and furious put a spot light onto it.It's what made all the sport compacts look like there the only cars that are built for street racing.

you need to show the public this is not the case.Do mods to your vehicle that are legal, have shows that promote thats your against street racing. Make people stop looking at compacts as race cars!

Its not just because of like Fast and the Furious...
way back in the 60's they had cartoon shows... movies about racing and all
I can recall a cartoon called "Speed Racer". and also the original Gone in 60 Seconds. that movie may not have focused on street racing. but there way quite a bit of speed involved.

Its all just a cycle... muscle car era. they had illegal straight pipe exhausts which actualy had 2nd ports welded onto the main pipes. in which they could control it to be a straight pipe.. or they would slide this little door which would direct the exhaust to a legal pipe system if any cops stopped them

Give it a few years and itll die down

Imports are just our generation of car interests. And unfortunatly it kicks us in the ***.

For example last summer me and my dad were out... He's got a 1975 Chevy Monte Carlo... 350cu.in V8... rims... 3.5" side pipe straight exhaust. noisey as all hell.
A cop pulled us over cuz we were speeding. 35 over.
All he told us was to slow down... other then that he just wanted to see the car. and not to look over... but cuz his mom had one when he was a kid.

i could go on and on about this whole situation about street racing and all.

but im tired
