There is some show on A&E right now about streetracing in T.O. I think it's a few year's old, but I've never seen it. It's focusing on 2 guys who are supposed to be the "fastest" in T.O. "Mike" who drives a Civic and "Rob" who has a Mazda 323 and an RX7. The guy with the Civic seems pretty laid-back, but the Mazda guy has got the biggest mouth. Are these guys for real? I can't believe people actually spend their nights driving around looking for streetracing.

Truth to say majority of honda drivers are street racers for the exception of a bunch...I think I saw the show a while back it was kick *** lol...Now a days you don't even need to go hunt for street races...*I do not street race or promote any type of illegal activity*

It was on 3 or 4 years ago.

I remember it, it's this one big fat dude in a miata racing people.

I think they had a clip of people getting tickets while leaving a car show, too.

yeah darknights was teh show where everyone got ticketed in the tv show. this is the one I was talking about in the members lounge. a TCC member is seen sleeping or just waking up at darknights

Ya i remember talking about it now. Are they airing this every spring now pr something? To get people aware of what Honda driver's do at night when the weather's nice? What crap...

A driver who drives fast on the street will speed even if he was in a 30 year old Tercel.

cbcnewsworld did a hour special on racing as well...
they focused on a couple people, one white wanna be ganster...
and some silverspooned asian univ. student...

That show was made in 1998. I have it recorded on cd.
That's when the import car scene was booming...

mike is prolly mike P from toronto, one of the fastest street hondas around, his honda went 10-11sec 1/4mile....he owns a machine shop......

that show is about 5 years old
if you go to www.aande.com and search need for speed you can buy the tape

its about mike palijan who was pretty much a pioneer in the whole honda thing around here and was the first to break into 11's and 10's (he no longer competes) and some loser dude with a 15 second mx-6 who was trying to find mike p at the races somewhere to take away his "Crown"
