stupid computer problems again
I have this annoying thing that happens with my computer. The first thing is when I press the back button on my browser, it almost always says "page has expired" and I have to reload to get to see the page again (never happened on any of my last computers) I have Rogers cable, windows XP SP1.
The other problem is intermittent, but when I write text, and make a mistake and put the cursor to where I need to correct it or add words, it writes over top whatever is in front of the cursor (instead of writing/adding the word and making everything ahead of it jump ahead) So I have to put the cursor to where I want to correct or add text, and press enter a couple times to drop everything down below, write the stuff, and backspace everything thats below until it is back to where it meets the new stuff I wrote. It happens in email messages, and on the internet, and never happened on any other computers I've had.
Anybody know what is causing this or ways to make it go back to normal? Another thing is the thing that automatcially fills in forms on internet sites, this computer doesn't do it nearly as much as my past 2 computers did. Like when you fill in your address somewhere, and the next time you go to a site that needs that, it'll have a drop down menu that has the address or number, etc.
Any help/suggestions appreciated.
