the summer job search begins!

Hey guys
Just another member post about possible positions opening up in the near future. If any of you guys have a heads up on any leads or good jobs, bad jobs, please let me know.

well if you live in the Durham region there is a new McDonalds opening soon near Brock and Taunton and they are having a job fair this weekend i think

hell yeah i want to be the first person at the mcdonalds. I need a summer job too, mcdonalds is out of the question

construction break ur back for 2-3 months it will pay off it will be like 1 yrs pay from mc-d's u could make easly 1000 a week thats like12000 in 3 months or go to mcds and get 200 a week and make more or less 10000 in a year lol

There is a job fair or something at Canada's Wonderland this Saturday and Sunday (11th and 12th).

oh man.. i'm not looking for high school jobs, i'm looking for anyone that has links to telecommunications or architectural/engineering firms

I'm in 3rd year architectural studies
I'm looking for office/desk oriented jobs
such as drafting, working for firms, anything like that

anything that pays 14+

mmc architects in downtown toronto, they specialize in shopping malls only and is an international firm with another office in bangkok. i was there for 9 months. some of the local stuff they've done is square one, the recent renovations of yorkdale and they got the contract for gerrard square. out of town they've done stuff like chinook place etc.

they have pretty high standards though, usually take summer interns about now. last time i was there i think the interns were from dalhousie, or something.

since you're not very specific, that's all i'm gonna say. joseph hung is a senior design architect there, and he's very cool.
