Synthetic oil costing me too much...

Where the hell can i find synthetic oil for a good price? I'm tired of paying through my *** for it. Anyone know a good place that sells it for cheap? I dont even mind buying large quantities of it to save money.

I think you'll find alot of people say you're wasting your money using synth anyway.

Didi you try Cosco or Sams Club? Walmart maybe?

Wasn't there a place selling 4L jugs of Mobil 1 for $25? A lobelaws superstore? I remember there was a post about cheap Mobil 1 about 1.5ish months ago.

I never did get a round to picking up some.

why do you use synthetic oil? Is it turbo? or some sort of ferrari engine in there?
Its a honda man....use dinosaur oil, it won't hurt a thing.

I buy my Castrol GTX 5w30 oil @ Costco, its much cheaper than regular department stores. They also carry Castrol Syntec which is 6 x 1L bottles for about $26. I purchase my GTX oil @ 12 x 1L for about $25 + tax. Works out to be a tad more than $2/L. My EK been running regular Castrol GTX oil since I purchased it w/ 28K and it now has 200K w/ no leaks or burning. So I'm personally gonna stick w/ regular oil.

all new hondas now use 5w-20. why are you using synth oil anyways? do you really need it? like zeeman said, just stick to conventional oil!

Well according to his profile he has 99 Civic LX which still takes 5w30

I use Mobil 1 5w30 for my SiR every 7,000km. A little pricey I know, but I make enough $$ not to worried with the extra cost.
