taking a day off

i must say its one of the best things i've done lately... i'm sitting up in north bay, just got outta the hot tub before the miss had to go to work like a sucker... i wish i could do this like every monday...

on a lighter note, as of last friday nobody had been trained on my job at work, which normally isn't a big issue but the big brass from the company buyin all these train cars are auditing the whole line...

i dont know if i should feel bad about that or not... i guess it would be sad if they saw some bad work and cancelled the orders, but then again there would be big lay offs, meaning EI time

Came back from a rental cottage yesterday. Was up in Huntsville (cottage next to Deerhurst) for 3 days. Very relaxing, feel recharged and ready to dive into work again.

Weather was perfect, 32c, hot and sunny. Just lovely.

Taking time off is great. You just have to say F*ck It to the workload because new issues are constantly arising. If you try to wait for the perfect time to go, you'll be waiting until Christmas.
