TALK IRAQ: Bush to send 21,000 more troops to iraq

Dubya gave a speech yesterday from the white house. He is now proposing to send 21500 more troops to iraq to control the voilence and 'liberate' the poeple.

What do u guys think? I think its useless.....four years and they are no where with this. 3000 of their own troops dead....probably hundreds of thousands iraqis dead....billions already spent, no wmd and no 9-11 connection whatsoever...

If this war was for oil....why not the americans or their allies are getting the benefit....where are those subsidies on oil finances going to? He is now also blaming the iraqis that they can control their own ****..lol

Looks like vietnam all over again....where Lyndon Johnson and others did the same by sending more and more troops every year but to no avail.

PWNED IN IRAQ......Discuss

he doesn't want to pull out, nor does he want any more disaster until his term is up.

let people die for nothing until he's out of office, after that, who cares.

let the democrats sit in the hot seat he warmed up

well...he needs 60 votes for this to pass...and obviously republicans do not have that many seats. apparently, dem and some repub. are not in a mood to vote on this at all....

i just cant believe he is not impeached by the new house as yet.

take my money and disappear.

or pull out and declare nuclear attack on the next country that does anything to annoy the US.

that include bombing israel if they attack palestinians, or vice versa.

either way, you all dead.

As all of us do at some point.
the road to hell is paved with good intentions. being the leader of arguably the most powerful nation in the world doesn't give him 'wiggle room' to not always make the right decisions. his decisions directly and indirectly affect hundreds of millions of people, and shape the future of the world at the same time. he indirectly makes decisions to literally KILL thousands of people. in my mind he is no different than Hitler, Stalin, Napolean... except for the fact those were actually very intelligent leaders. his decisions are ill advised (thanks to outside interest NGOs) and he's simply not smart enough to know any better.
IQ scores of past US presidents:
147 Franklin D. Roosevelt (D)
132 Harry Truman (D)
122 Dwight D. Eisenhower (R)
174 John F. Kennedy (D)
126 Lyndon B. Johnson (D)
155 Richard M. Nixon (R)
121 Gerald Ford (R)
175 James E. Carter (D)
105 Ronald Reagan (R)
098 George HW Bush (R)
182 William J. Clinton (D)
091 George W. Bush (R)

"Exploring Intelligence", pg. 24, 1999, Linda Gottfredson states,
"Adults in the bottom 5% of the IQ distribution (below 75) are very difficult to train and are not competitive for any occupation on the basis of ability. Serious problems in training low-IQ military recruits during World War II led Congress to ban enlistment from the lowest 10% (below 80) of the population, and no civilian occupation in modern economies routinely recruits its workers from that below-80 range. Current military enlistment standards exclude any individual whose IQ is below about 85."
are you seriously ****ing telling me that the Commander in Chief of the US forces, the very top military head of the country... is just several points from the bottom cutoff of the enlistment standards???

it's pretty sad that these men and women who will die for him are actually statistically smarter than him.

i'd like to see bush on trial like sadaam was...

wonder how he could hold sovereignty so dearly, yet readily attack innocent nations. what is it... rwanda next? or was it somalia? something about al-queda (sp?) hiding out there so they wanna go for an air strike? WTF is that???? how do you bomb a nation cuz you suspect a private organization is hiding out there.

anyone here remember the PLQ (Quebec ********* Organization in the 1960s)... imagine the US decided to bomb Montreal and Quebec City to 'flush out' the PLQ.

ok, seriously? gwb only has an IQ of 91?! are u f'n kidding me?! you'd think there would be a minimum IQ requirement to lead an entire nation as powerful as the US.
