that's tough man, I couldn't imagine a night of not drinking but still being out of the house. I leave the house and it's a given that drinks will be involved. I don't wanna drink, that means I stay home. Watch TV, surf the net.... if I was gay maybe I'd read a book or something. LOL j/k

To me, drinking = getting drunk.

I showed up for work hungover after the Argos got eliminated last October. I felt like a dumbass and toldmyself I wasnt drinking until New Years.

I did pretty well...didnt get drunk until Christmas...saved a lot of money for gifts and bought a nice suit at BR for my office xmas dinner....Turned some fat into muscle as well...

It was a success as far as I'm concerned. But, yes, I didn't quit alcohol 100%; I would have a beer or two here and there.

If one is considering quitting drinking for health reasons (or cutting back) one must realize that the same liver that is suffering from excess alcohol will also suffer from the weed intake you propose.

put put with the boys.. haha. that's not happening.

i have a woman.

there is no such thing as having a few. it's all or nothing. why would i have just one beer? i'd rather have an iced tea if that was the case.

when my doctor told me i had to not drink at all until some tests came through, i was laughing. not at that, just at the fact i couldn't think of anything else to do with my time.

i was DD for a long time.

I'm okay now.. but my friend has to quit for good sort of deal. I don't plan on quitting.. just thinking of things to do that are brokeback with my male friends that don't invovle getting hammered....

bars.. lounges... camping.. cottage.. house party.. pool party... dominos... bbq... road trips... wednesday nights... i mean... there isn't much i do that doesn't involve booze that i'd want to do with my friends.

i quit drinking for about 4 months it was a nice change, i still went out to the bars with all my friends just didnt drink. You have a good laugh watching your friends pick up all the ugly girls while you pick up the good looking ones.....i was also in a relationship for part of that and that worked too, just made friends and picked up girls for my friends haha

only part that sucks is at the end of the night trying to get your friends to leave

i would have stayed sober no problem, but i went to dominican and there is nothing to do there but drink ahah so i started again

dont stop doing what you have been doing, no need to exclude you and your buddy from what everyone else is doing just because of drinking and going to the bar will be even better because you have a sober friend to be there with and laugh at your drunking friends

PLUS the good thing about not drinking is saving up all your money for car stuff

think about it this way you go to the bar you spend probley like 60+ on drinks and where does that money go??? down the drain

save that cash and put it into your car something you can enjoy day to day

honestly greatest sober times are to be had in the midst of drunk people that arent at home

niagra falls and windsor are both full of girls from the states ages 19-20 that can legalaly drink here...walk around asking where girls are from and if they say the us hang with them...

you'll probably get laid and be smart enough to give her a wrong number..hell give her a montreal number htey don't know our aread codes and ****

I would say hang out with other non drinkers and just shoot the ****. Play Online Games, Go to the Casino and play some BJ or Poker. You could go to Dave N Busters, play some pool go camping. Theres always Wonderland in the summer. I drink maybe twice a month max.
