wow, the posts under the story are way harsh. I agree, he's a little bit of a loser but geez. he's at least doing something about it.
leave it to internet posters to verbally beat down a guy for posting on the internet too much! haha

I think its the most interesting thing I've read in a while...

It evokes a discussion...

Online Identity vs Offline Identity.

Virtual suicide! I love it.

that's the thing... at what point do the online and offline lives blur to the point where you can't distinguish your virtual world from your real one?

are you kidding??? well lets see... hmmm if there is a monitor in front of you, that's the online you. if there is a real person in front of you... that's the offline you.

quit being stupid... online and offline lives blur? How seriously do you guys take this?? I'm online all the time, but I still have a life outside of the net. the net is just a diversion to make time pass faster.

"I’ve got to duff a fat chick, I’m not against it. Worst case scenario, there’s a perverted old man down the street. Hey, a warm mouth’s a warm mouth.” "

what a fruit cake...

im taking psychology at UW and like, i remember i think in my 2nd year we were talking about that actual concept in one of our classes, same kinda situation: this guy who was internet savvy decided to off himself from the net but he called it internet suicide or something like that.
i think its good what buddy is doing tho b/c at least he found his ***** somewhere and decided to use them. there are alot of people out there who just have this whole internet persona and life... then they start dating on the internet and shi+ and pretty soon that becomes there world...

LOL...I see it everyday.

But for me it is very different...there is no such thing as an online vs. offline life. It is very simple - internet is just for business and entertainment, people are not my friends, nor my enemies unless I've spent time with them in person.

I have a neighbour who dates online, and all they are looking for is a piece of ***, no commitment. LOL...I could get a piece of *** anywhere.

They say single men who spend much of their time on the net are highest risk for suicide

Internet has became a part of most teenagers' life. They call them Generation M (Multi-tasking).

70-80 hours is a bit radical.
