sometimes calls dont get through or i dont have reception inside buildings, but it only take a second or two to walk towards a window.
and my plan (cityfido $45/month unlimited all the time) more than makes up for that cuz id be spending soooooo much with telus

Fido (well used to be better before the Rogers take over) is where its at, GSM, cheaper, by the second billing, excellent customer service.....and now with Rogers very good coverage, can't go wrong....

All my friends who have Rogers have more signal then me in the same area since they took over Fido. But before that my telus had more signal then theirs. They must have changed something with the network because they all have the same phones and I still have the same phone.

wow u guys must be some super popular ppl for whining and bitching about reception in like one place...who cares..unless its somewhere u frequent often.. then it isnt a big deal.. bell rocks.. if ur corporate.. oother than that meh..theyre ok with the non data plans..wouldnt deal with bell if i didnt have a corp acct.

Since rogers introduced the 850MHZ 3 years ago, their reception has just been getting better. Im currently using a W600i, and I havent been in an area were I dont have reception. I can use my phone in underground parking garages, basements, my cellar etc..
I was on telus almost seven years ago, their service was good, plans were expensive, and their phones werent the greatest. I dont think Im getting off rogers any time soon.

My 535 is pretty good. Plan is expensive but I never use the minutes on it anyways. Always get reception with Telus, except at work, which pisses me off. But w/e.
I picked up a data cable and now it's the best phone. I got mp3 ringtones, games, backgrounds... the works, just gotta know where to look. I do really like my phone.

Until Zyepher shed's some light on the new telus phones I still say they are behind. I have 3 other friends who have already switched from Telus to Rogers for the same reason so I'm sure they must have figured it out by now that they are loosing business. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who doesn't mind to spend a little extra $$$ to get what they want and right now ( and for a while) Telus just doesn't cut it.
