did you expect a bunny killing plant?

I think in south america there is a plant that can consume small birds.

i wonder if it eats/attracts mosquitoes... it'd be an interesting thing to sell for people to put in their gardens...

Ju Long Chau, as they call it in Chinese.

Plant opens up its lid and the scent of honey attracts flys and insects. It will fly to the lid and craw in and realize the **** just closed on itself.

What a fvcking horrible way to die.

Another type is like a shape of clam, with "teeth" looking extentions around the edge, opens up and closes as soon as something lands on it.

It was cheap man.... I forget exactly but def under $20.

SilverSiG yeah, any insect and yeah it attracts them as well. Only problem is.... it eats 1-2 insects per month in the spring and summer months. It hibernates during winter months (obviously since there are no insects in the winter). So while it would be cool to have in your garden, it won't really be as effective as one of those gas powered lamps (for killing mosquitoes). ZAAAPPP

I had a Venus flytrap as well.. I kept killing insects and feeding it, and watching it close.. Needless to say it said fairly quickly. Pretty cool thing to have though
