Me too, but having a mortgage and going to school don't always happen in the same sentance.

Paramedic, Firefighter or Insurance. I want to help people or rip them off.

well you can and people do...I dont even sell them now anymore...I'm unemployed and at a "turning point" in life right now and 2 years of fine tuning and experience in something I enjoy doesnt seem like a bad idea...there is always room for more freelance photographers

Yeah going to school could be a good idea.

My friend is in applied photography (I think its that) Hes in a photography program.

The hours are long he has told me. He showed me his schedule he has like 28 hours of lecture. Hes up at 5am every morning to get morning shots then hes in class to about 6pm every day and then stays in the lab until it closes, When I stayed at his house for a few days he was leaving at 5am and usually rolling in around 2am from doing his work. Id check out the hours of that program to see if your willing to. Not sure if its applied photography but it is a photography program, im not sure what photography program hes in.

I know its crazy, When he told me he was in photography I thought it would be a easy work load. Go take some pictures have a little bit of lectures.

Then I see way more hours of lectures alone than I have. My longest day I have is 9 hours of lectures and I hate those days lol.
I know somedays hes working his job inbetween. Like today I was at his house for dinner, he got there at around 4pm from doing school work ate dinner until about 7 now hes back at school till late. Ridiculous, but from what ive seen so far his portfolio is really good and big so lots of hard work I guess. Hes in second year, I have no idea how first year is like.

But it seems from your posts here you have a natural talent for it and enjoy and are good at it so it would be a good thing

go to school and take something that will get you steady income. if not, you might as well stay working.
