Yeah, thats the same thing he said to me.

Tomorrow for example he has to wake up at 5am to get to the spot to take the picture for sunrise. He takes a few shots and has to work on each one so he can be up working on those picture till 2am to have them finished.

Im done school this year, and I plan on working but I was thinking of going back to school, Ive kind of been interested in doing investigations. Just the job out of school is a good oppertunity I do not want to pass.

lol a guy I played hockey with had an applied photography degree and now he works at a firm and he takes pictures at nightclubs and concerts for a magazine.

It would be great to do something you enjoy as well. Doesnt really have to be all about the money as long as you make enough to get by.

It is never too late for learning. It is important to work for something you like, not to find a job because it pays. The latter always quit before the first.

You already know my opinion...I'm with these guys.
No need for me to say more, they said it very succinctly.

Sounds like some one is burned out from school. I loathe school too. I don't find it interesting at all. However I do realize that my Honours B.A. and subsequent L.L.B will be worth it when it comes time to find steady work.

experience is everything.....!

You could go through school for 6 years taking Business and Sales is what you were studying the most.....and then you hit the real world and you suck and the guy with no school is towering over you......

So university means nothing when it comes to business SOMETIMES.....but the basics do help.....need to be a people person

I havent found any kinda work in the normal job pool I like so I figured its time to work on my portfolio and do something that I do anyways...I'm not a desk jockyey kinda person, I like to be out and about and do things and see things that people that are desk bound dont get to see

school right now is something thats gonna give me somethin to do and give me an outlook on the future

this is very true. you can only move so much vertically with just a bachelor's or master's degree. but there's a lot of horizontal movement available as well as a lot more job oppurtunities. once you get to the doctoral and mba levels, although there's not as many job oppurtunities (at least not in canada), you're able to move vertically a lot faster and able to get those director type positions.

matt, maybe you could go to skool part time while holding down a job. it'll take u longer to finish skool, but at least u wont be so strapped for cash. just a thought.

ya, totally burnt out. i've been burnt out for yrs. that's what happens when you go to skool for over 24 consecutive acadamic yrs with the last 5 going through the summers and with only 1 vacation. i'm 28, and i've had 1 vacation.

BUT, i do have my first 1st author paper published this month...yay! woohoo! now for #2 and #3.

i've always worked full time while doing full time classes, I'm just good like that...might not have been regular full time 9-5 hours but it equated to full time hours spaced out throughout the week...I kinda miss all that
