yea zoom in and youll always see my damn EK in the pile of cars ... soooo frustrating !

either i find something closer to home or i raise the issue to my boss and see what they can offer me ...

since i think if i were to say, quit. They would be in a ruff position .. not to say im irriplacable but no one in this building (not being sarcastic or imbelishing) but no one in this building knows the system inside and out like i do... theres 1 guy that knows the basics but if i did quit .. this place would be in shambles, there would be no one to re-train the person replacing me, since i basically trained my self, and the dude that trained me has since left and now lives in Columbia ....

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !

If you just work on the database, isn't it possible to setup a remote desktop, work from home and say go into the office 1 day a week?

YEA thats what im ****in sayin .. thats the part that really pisses me off ! cause this is the deal .. im the youngest in the company by atleast 5 years ... next youngest person is like 30 ....

there is another woman in my depart. who i think is threatend that im in this position .. so shes in cahoots (?sp) with my boss to keep me under a tight radar ... the fact that ive been coming in late like every day says to them that im"Irresponsible" i guess .. but in simple fact its cause i HATE SITTING IN TRAFFIC !

being setup from home is easy as pie but my boss is just being a ***** and wont get me set up .. when i asked during my last reveiw/raise .. she said its alot of confidential information and i need to put in a lil more time here b4 thats an option .. which is pure ***** ... they act like im gona go home and call all my boys over to see my works database PFFFFFFFFFT gimme a break ...

negative ... i dont necessarily have a "set" schedule thats the thing when i was hired i was told i can start from 7,8 - 3,4

so i leave depending on when i come in .. so its not that i dont make up the time .. its just that im later than 8am some AM's

and why spend like 50-60 on gas a week for **** that can be done 100% the same from my house ?

Right now, I am working from home every other week. Hopefully down the line, it will be all the time. Really, there is no reason for me to be in the office. I can do meetings over the phone, all documents I get via e-mail and they have provided me with a laptop and I can go anywhere to support as long as I have a internet connection. My driving days may be over soon. Although, my drive to work isn't that bad. I don't have to go into the core of the city, and I can take various routes home.

Haha, that's it, blame everyone else for your woes other than yourself. I could say the same about you. You are on here a hell of a lot more than I am.

It's great if you're disciplined enough to work from home. Some people need the office environment to keep to a schedule, but if you can maintain that tempo while at home, you're golden...the best of both worlds.

All depends on the work load and your environment. Lets face it, as long as you get your work done, the rest of the day is pretty much yours, as long as you are reachable and available between your 9 - 5. The difference is, you can't work at home like you do at work, and they know it. So do what you can, and do what you want. Just manage it properly.
