tongue cut open

Anyone ever cut their tongue pretty good?

i took a shot to the jaw when I wasn't expecting it, and ended up with my tongue being between my teeth.

i was spitting blood for a while, but it was casual.

I've been using a mouthwash 3 times a day and i notice my tongue looks like the split has been glued together.

it's annoying, but it doesn't look infected.

anyone ever cut their tongue before? Did you need stitches or anything?

Fell off my MT bike on a trail and bite mine (but more to the side than the tip of tongue). A layer of it was hanging inside my mouth. Bled like a SOB. Couldn't eat for a week. But no stitches or anthing.

I took a jaw shot while skateboarding. fell trying to clear some big 5 set sidewalk gap and while I slid on my back my board landed between my legs and then bounced up and caught me right on the chin. I bit right around my the edge of my tounge from oneside to the other. Madee the gap next try tho. I also passed out at a girlfriends house when I was 17 after a strung out night on shrooms. I may have had a small ceisuer, but I bit my tounge so hard it bled like crazy. I couldn't eat solids for a while. the worst tho was when I was even younger. I was punched in the face in gr.8 and I had braces. the wire from my bottom half broke and stabbed trough then ripped through the hangy skin that hold your tounge down to the bottom of your mouth. now I can stick my tounge out farther but I can't do that glicing thing anymore. not a bad trade tho I'm kinda old to fire spit at things but the fact I could pick my own nose with my tounge.... well lets just say I know why the ladies like gene simmons.

never went to the hospital for any of mine, I'm guessing you havn't either but most of us (or all of us I dunno) aren't doctors so if it's that bad maybe your askin a shoe salesman if where to buy pants.

When I was a kid I was playing with my moms rolling pin and bit my tongue. I needed 4 stitches and had to eat ice cream and jello for weeks. I now have a pretty nice scar to remind me of my dumbass antics when I was child.

I was 5... I was running down the hall and throwing myself vertically and flying down the hall way. I finally went right over and BAM. I tried to go again but my mom came and was giving me **** and then she noticed the blood coming out my mouth. Best mistake though... 5 and a diet of ice cream, jello, yogurt etc it was beautiful

never happened to my tongue but when i was a kid i slipped on the stairs of a slide and my face hit the edge of the stair which resulted in a huge chunk of my gums slicing off

i went homed, shoved a bunch of toilet paper in my mouth and called it a day.
