hahah... this place is too trashy for me.. and i used to hit peel pub and phoenix all the time.

you'll have a good time if you're 19 and a caker.

lots of **** bags back in the day.... the staff used to be full of idiots... except for the guy who sold burritos on the dancefloor.

It's basically low quality, trashier peel pub... not that peel pub is anything classy to begin with..

maybe you shouldn't be so easily offended?

I'm Canadian. I was born in scarborough.

It's the typical frosh pub.

- girls in tight jeans and halter tops
- good ethnic mix
- lots of guys in football and rugby shirts
- they will at some point play at least three of the following every Thursday, Friday, Saturday night.
- Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby
- Beastie Boys - Girls
- House of Pain - Jump Around
- Boney M - Rasputin
- Mudmen - Home for a Rest (the I been drunk since I left song)
- There will be at least one toilet with puke in it by midnight.

There is nothing wrong with this place.. if you look around.. it's all younger people.. and it is a crappier version of peel pub.. or that was the case in the past.. for years on end.. things don't change all that much at such establishments.

The music is a mix of everything that is good to a drunk person... I personally like that... like the same kind of stuff you might hear at my apartment.. which has an a55hole for an owner..

gal, as you get older you are likely to hear a few uncofirmed rumours about them recycling their beer.

Nothing wrong with **** bags... handjobs on the dancefloor

Ahhh the Brunny. My parents went there back in the day. I wonder if rockin' Irene is still around?

The place used to be a dive, in a good way. Always a good night. Cheap pitchers, a ton of university students, and a dancefloor are never a bad combo. It's the only Toronto bar where I've seen someone get head on the dancefloor. Also responsible for about a third of my one nighters in university.

They've gone a little bit more upscale now, the actual bar part of it in the front is nice and the food is good. It's now run by the same company that runs O'Gradys. The back room is still the same, big benches where you can get hammered with 20 of your friends.

I haven't been in a while, last time I was there it was deserted but that was on a Friday in the summer. This place used to be great Thursdays and Saturdays during the school year. In 4th year we had a 4 month Brunny Thursday streak going.

sometimes these dives turn out to be a good time. I often spend nights getting drunk at big dicks which is def not a classy place. all you need is good friends and some money... the good time will follow

naw, just the way you made it seem. Personally, I know a couple of chinese people that love going to bars like these. I know some cakers that hate going to bars like these. Its all what people prefer and ****. By the sounds of it, its more of a bar where their is a dance floor, but its cheap drinks, you get sloshed easily and there is alot of ppl to commute with.

Almost like Chili Pepper in st. catherines possibly ?

i dunno what that is... it's a big room... with rows of picnic tables... with a small/medium size dance floor filled with a younger bar crowd in t-shirts and jeans getting hammered.

bah almost, pepper is more of a bar with tables and stuff and everyone just getting ****faced outta there mind. Usually a fight outside afterwards follows which results in a 10man brawl. Pretty cool, I had to call the cops last week beacuse some guy got boot****ed in the face.

BB, my bouddy in windsor is always at big dicks...his names Mike, he's bald and about 6'0...250lbs...you might know him. He hangs out with a guy nick who has a lo lo truck or somthing.

Anyways, back on track...The Brunny used to be pretty fun. I mean, how can you get sick of seeing 17 year old girls showing their chest as they dance on the bar?

the bruny? desscode? i don't think so man.. i wouldn't be surprised if there was a sign that said "no shirt no shoes no service"

whatever is fine. maybe no jogging pants or something... it's pretty much one of the bigger popular drinking holes
