Tonight sucked
The night was going perfect out with the boyz representen tcc hit some night spots. So i drop my last friend off just as i pull out the driveway i reverse just as i start to drive away all you hear is crunch my civic wouldn't go anywhere it was like i was in neutral i put my hazards on and their was ball barrings all over the road. So my friend and some other guys waiting for the bus helped me push it back in my friends driveway and i ended up walking most the way home from weston & finch to woodbridge, Does anyone know what is going on with my civic? I hope i can get back in the game soon. Plz help thanks Dudebud. Thank god for good people.

How does you clutch feel? When you put it in gear, does it feel like it engages or is it pure empty space like rowing a straw through a milkshake Haha... sorry, that's nothing to laugh about. Sounds like you scattered your tranny... most likely input shaft. Two options - expensive way is to rebuild it, cheap way is to buy a used one.

The car was running smoked for a minute and it wouldn't go anywhere just reved no go. The bearings were hot as hell. I should strip the s.o.b. and get a 91 i got an 89 now. Reson being that i bought it for $3500 3yr ago and in repairs it's around 10g's i could of had a sweet civic for the kind of coin.

Kinda... I want something that my bro could use for the one month he's here... he's coming over from germany, so I wanna get him a car he can roll in, plus after he goes I have a project car But I'll take a shell too as long as it's rust free. I was gonna let him use my Saturn and I use my Suzuki... and then next summer go south and get a rust free shell.
All depends on what you got for me bro?

You never said how your tranny felt... did you still have gears or did it feel like empty space? You say it'll still run, right? Did it spill out oil everywhere? If not, I'm temped to blame this one on the tranny, but I can't be sure w/o more info.

no oil and yes it did feel empty. i need advice i've spent so much in the past you think i should upgrade and strip my car and use that cash towards a another civic? or should i put more money into it and fix it?

depends on how rusted it is... $2-300 for a new tranny and clutch is hella better than many thousands for another car... don't forget you gotta pay tax on the new old civic you buy, transfer, etc... usually about $200 in itself just to get it in your name, plus safety crap, emission tests... all that red tape.
