leafs, they dont have any idea what the heck they are doing, GM is so stupid he has no idea how to work with new changes. i so thought they were gonna pick up some good players so far gm is still looking for his ***** to make a good move. and yes leafs will not win another cup for next 20-30 year the way they handle things.

No i am not an expert on any of that new stuff, and i have no idea what all the new changes are except the 39 mil cap.

PS: sens are bunch of HOMOs, hate em hate em hate em

Toronto only have $600,000 left to spend because of the cap... so I guess they cant sign any more good players, unless they buyout other players

lol pat hates young players, he wont coach them, i have this feeling that gm, w/e his name is, is gonna get rid of pat, i think not this season but maybe in 2-3 seasons.

With Nik Antropov signing yesterday the Leafs have the biggest forwards in the NHL and since they will be cracking down on obstruction this year who will stop those forwards from going to the net? I think the leafs did the best job with free agency this year. Philly got Forsberg but let go of Leclair and Amonte. They also traded away Markov and Roenick. There's no way Forsberg will replace all that offence. Those two young kids they got will take time before they will become stars. As far as Detroit goes well, they have no goalie ans the Sens are still Homo's.

they say that about obstruction every year and it's the same bullsihit over and over again, they should just take out the redline and make it more interesting and big scoring with more break aways, now with the goalies that dont' have MONSTER pads anymore and they cut off a bit and made them smaller

Lindros is an *******. I was at a number of parties that he was also at during his Oshawa Generals years. I *HATE* him with a passion. I *CHEER* every time he gets hurt. I normally wouldn't wish pain on anyone, but I make an exception for this misserable skunk humper. I would like to see him dragged out into the street, shot, pissed on, and left there to rot naked like a common road kill.

The BEST thing about Lindros is that figure skater Elvis Stoiko(sp?) kicked the crap out of him one night in the Muskoka's where they both have close cottages. Aparently the story goes that Lindros called him gay (which he is), and Elvis didn't take kindly too it. Elvis is also a black belt, a supercross racer, and is also involved in a few other extreme sports. bwahahaha... If I ever meet Elvis, I'm buying him a beer.

its a gamble lindros always wanted to play for the leafs as a kid now his dream has come true to prove himself in his home town TORONTO.. its a 1 year deal if he is good enough for another season they will re sign him... if not then hes gone .. thats why a 1 year deal is nothing . so there is nothing bad to say about it unless you dont know hockey

1 year for 1.55mil, thats a good deal. if the guy gets 20 goals he earns that cash. Toronto won't do to well overall i believe, because now that everyteam is 39 mil payroll rather then some in the 50's or higher...its level playing field and teams that have speedy players and great defensive players will shine.

also Toronto's fate depends heavily on eddie, eddie is my favorite player, but he's not getting any younger and that back of his is of more concern then lindros concusions.

all that said, to bad ticket prices are still brutal, i'd love to see em. thats why i think i'll take a trip to buffalo to see em play...you know, where its affordable to watch the damn game unlike Toronto!

I think it's a decent move on the Leafs part. If it doesn't work out a year from now...then part ways. It's like the lottery...if the Leafs win..it'll be big.

side note: You gotta love what Philly's been able to do in the off season though.

1.55 mill is amazing to pick up lindros, it's only one yr, if he gets hurt and retires so what... plus with 8 conclusions already, he is prone to die at the age of 50 from a stroke...

domi was picked up for almost the same price, but no one says that's a bad pick up...

seriously pat quinn needs to go, he doesn't give young guys a chance, except for matt stajan and he sucks, watch him play he think his job is to clean the ice, he falls around 10 times a shift...
