hm...i found some numbers according to motortrend:

0-60: 7.26 seconds
Quarter Mile: 15.67s @ 91.97 mph

that's not too bad but at least i wont be getting spanked by one of these things

Are you on crack cocaine?? It does not beat a 3.2TL Type-S... maybe with NOS!! TL Type-S's 0-60mph has been clocked anywhere from 6.4s to 6.7s....... and that's with an AUTO. You gotta drive the Matrix stick, PERFECTLY, to achieve 0-60mph in around 7.5s.....

As much as I love the new Matrix, they ain't that fast!

But it sure as hell is a great value, at $24.000............ you get to spank a Civic SiR, outhandle it, seat 4 comfortablely, AND have enough cargo space to go camping with... LOL...

well it was a prototype and you know that sometimes car manufacturers fine tone their prototypes a little more to give it more power compared to the full production models.

I'll get my buddy Plaz to post the details on the proto. They modified it to the gills...I wouldn't have believe it either if I hadn't seen it myself....plus the guy in the TL nearly lost it on the curve against the matrix....He was hella surprise when we pulled up to the next light asking all sorts of questions... he was a good sport about losing

This was an auto type S with a poor excuse for a driver. I agree the matrix shouldn't have won....but the guy was a **** on the curve!

Actually, smart ***, what he wrote is considered "just talking".

See, he hasn't done anything (yet) which doesn't constitute a crime.

If you would REALLY like to be funny, perhaps I can arrange for you to view the special forum section which only certain special members get access to.

They are nice lookin' mini, mini vans. If we were having anymore kids I would look at one, but since we are not, I have no use for it.

I've got the first one on the way really soon. That's enough to warrant me the Matrix.

It's sad I have to put down the "blaquecivic".
