Mitsu's have been arounf since 1909...so they will remain..they're sales are starting to do better in canada...you have to remember that they have only been selling cars here for 2 years now

the 1st mitsu sold in canada was the 2003 model. We are halfway through 2005...so only around 2.5 years in canada
Who really knows what will happen? - dont really care - i still love my Ralliart!!
Maybee in 5 years i'll trade it in for a civic again!! but until honda comes out with a decent looking civic with some HP -> i think i'll stay away!!!!

I just traded my 01 civic for an 05 eclipse gt. My new car is defintely better than my Civic. As far as Honda reliability goes, I really do think that they have taken a couple of steps back. I had a lot of problems with my vic. I traded it in with only 56,000 kms. It has had at least $2,500.00 in work done on it since I bought it new. I'm really glad I bought that extended warranty! As far as rust goes, ever notice that all Hondas from 1990 to about 1997 rust out where the front and back bumpers meet the wheel wells.

Decent looking/driving car but reliability is not there and I gurantee you with in 5 years you will see rust all over the place, especially behind the bumper shells. I would never, ever trade a honda product for any inferior mitsubishi product.

All i see is ego's in this thread. Who friggin cares...
But for me - buying a lancer in canada is like buying a 6 cylinder mustang over a v8. I mean why would anyone want an underpowered evo - when you could have the real thing..
Ill stick with my rusty reliable civic thanks!

I was thinking more along the lines of you couldnt afford one anyways. If someone wanted an evo but couldnt get it in canada dont you think they would buy the next best thing - a subaru wrx?
But then again some people on here drive cavaliers..

Yet they last soo much longer.. imagine that concept.
When you can buy a 05 cav for 9999.. you know your car is budget.
Hondas are econoboxes.. but very reliable and huge resale something gm hasnt figured out yet..
Please close this useless thread admins..
Thanks
