Renato Sobral was so bad, he is never really solid ......in his last 2 fights wasnt sharp at all.

my thoughts, the event was ok.. as I suspected it would be lol. I mean the card was not so great..

anyways.. Sobral is going downhill.. his last 2 fights were real bad...before that he had won 10 fights in a row.. and the loss before that was to chuck.. the guy is no joke..if you look at his pro mma record.. he has faught a lot of good talent and is a good fighter and a wizard on the ground... For example he went the distance fedor (the number 1 heavyweight in the world).. fedor won by decision.. I was hoping the guy would make a comeback because he is a really good fighter..

Was not impressed with Hughes, and was impressed with Lytle but Lytle is good.. Why ufc made this fight.. just to make matt hughes look good for his come back, btw.. I liked when Rogan said "im with the Champ, I mean former champ matt hughes" lol..

Franklin fight was ok.. glad to see he beat Mcdonald..

the next few cards look very good.

franklin adn mcdanold consisted of failed take down attempts by Mcdonald (watch all his fights he has zero hipback adn leg strenght) followed by decent/unremarable boxing and take downs by franklin. Hughes was about to lose in the first round literally passed out if you watch it then the guy let go of the choke adn had to pat hughes on the head to wake him up it was a joke the fight was over in the first 2 minutes. Then hughes got a few good take downs adn G&P'ed till the end of the fight. I was once again unimpressed by hughes and impressed by lytle.

I have always be unimpressed by hughes and franklin they both came in when there was zero talent in their classes and rose to the top with little effort/skill. Same wiht silvia there has been zero talant in his class for along time

one of couture's reasons for making a come back was the potential of having a fight w/ cro cop

looks like he'll get his wish but someone should let him know that he should be very careful about what he wishes for

great card though... i have to say.... pretty much every fight was good

sylvia sucks... the only reason he got to where he is, is his size... if he was 5 inches shorter he'd get his *** kicked so badly... he'd be outta the UFC...

couture was brought back because tim silvia has no charisma and no one really cares to see him fight.

they need to sell tickets and ppvs to make money.

couture outstriking tim were quite the surprise.

your assuming Mirko gets by Gonzaga.. lol I doubt Mirko would lose but you never know.. (look at the Nogueira fight at pride 33, the odds were a 13:1, some had it at 16:1 and Nog got k.o. in around 20 seconds, you never know).

That being said, Mirko vs Randy is not something I am looking forward to, I mean who wants to see Randy get picked apart and beat like what Mirko would prob. do to him...
Might be a good fight.. but id def say that mirko would win.

Btw, Mirko has expressed his interest in fighting Brandon Vera for whatever reason it is.. lol but vera is not with the ufc anymore so that wont be happening.
