US friendly fire PWNS Canada...again
If you guys have been following the news on Cdn. forces out of Afghanisation recently....five of them recently lost their lives. While four of these deaths were combat related but one soldier died and 30 others were injured by US friendly fire.
I mean...WTF....why always Canadians get killed in friendly fire...and with all the US radar and detection equipment....cant they tell who is who on the ground???
This incident happened when the Canadian forces were already engaged in a firefight on the ground and two US jets were called in for their support in that fight. the A-10 warthogs accidently straffed the whole canadian contingent with machine gun fire.
To die while fighting with the enemy makes sense but not otherwise

the problem why canada keeps getting hit with u.s friendly fire is because canada's equipment is not up to par with the u.s' new equipment. its really hard for the u.s to pin point who is who.
