They are called Viet Sub. They first came out around China Town area back in c.1997 (that's how far back I could remember).

It was close to UofT so I had the advantage of tasting these nice subs once in a while. Definitely healthier then McDonald's and whatnot.

Nice baked sub + vegetable + meat + chill peper and at a dollar each, **** I don't know what else is cheaper then that. 2 will fill you up real good + a bottle water. That's 3 bucks lunch right there.

There are at least 6 or more Viet Sub places on Spadina Ave. North of Dundas, as others have mentioned before. I would go down to China Town as oppose to Markham simply because China Town is half run by Viet immigrants now and Viet food is blooming nicely.

preferably, I like em without all the pickled carrots but, that's just my taste...yes, most an chinese supermarket you'll find em...they are individually wrapped and usually found near a colder section of the market.

I think that I'll head down to Chinatown one day soon and pick up one of these "real" Vietnamese subs... if even a lot of Chinese food in Chinatown is better, then I'm sure that these'll be better too!!

u rip the pepper, and ****** all those lil yellow spice pieces in ur sub
it taste spicy and really good
