I hate Walmart. It smells. I'll go there on the odd occasion that I need something specifically and I've come up with an arbitrary price in my head on which I won't spend more than on something.

However, Canadian Tire is like crack to me. If they didn't close I'd never leave. I am also addicted to their Friday flyer. I check it religiously Friday morning because the mail child does not bring it to the house until about 5 pm.
Costco ranks in at a close second, although I am quite obsessed with both of them.

CT used to be good, now they never have anything good on sale...costco is over priced unless you need 5 2lb bags of chips or something...but TVs and all that cost more there than at other retail places.

the walmarts I go to dont stink...I guess it all depends on where you live and the customers that go there...mine = hot university babes getting stuff for their place this coming fall...giggidy giggidy!!!

Just got back from the states and the wal-marts over there are no joke, put our super ones to shame.

It's a canadian tire, bass pro shop, loblaws, and homesense built into one.

Canadian Tire has a deal of the century every once in a while, though. Got a tip about a toaster and saved over $60 on it. Of course, had to go to several stores to find one in stock, but well worth it.

I mostly buy tools from Canadian Tire. I love Costco for their random stuff they get every once in a while, usually just around the time I need it too. They also have good meat and cheese. In Florida you can buy large quantities of booze at discounted prices along with their gas bar that is about 10 cents a gallon cheaper.

now don't crucify me..My company does the working drawing for Wal-Mart Canada. Seeing the entire store on paper is nuts. Especially a Super Store. You are just a Tiny spec on the paper
