Honestly, I think cars go with your age. Driving a nice car at a young age will just make your life harder when you have to down grade and drive something cheaper.

I didn't get my first car until I was 25. Well, I didn't need one and I couldn't afford one before hand. I don't know how old you are, but I am not telling you how to spend your money.

But if you feel the need to change your ride, why not?

haha bruno, i was just thinking the same thing
i wish at that kind of money at 19....actually i wish i had that kind of money now
w/ $40k you could pay for like 3 years of university living away from home.

$10k will only get you 2 years of tuition at university, not including books and stuff

Two terms in school cost me $10K I think... lemme see... 8 months rent = $4K, 8 mos tuition = $5K... that leaves $1K books. Well... I guess a little more than $10K then... like say $13K for 8 months of school incl food/clothes/drinking/cigarettes. Plus I modded my car when I was in school two, and I still had winter cars every year... so school was a little more than that for me. But that's the minimum I would say.

yup bruno, those costs are pretty close to what i say, not including car/gas/insurance/going out drinking b/c you do that weather you're in school or not
i paid $5k tuition, 8 mos rent w/ all utilities $6k, groceries ~ $2k
and $1k for books so right there is $14k not including going out and having fun, that's just for your living expenses.

ya i am really tempted to get the sti but i jus called my friend and he said he is paying almost 800 a month jus for the car and he said when he was driving his WRX he was paying around 500 so i might get the WRX instead of the STI and it would be a new car if i get the Subaru

Which school offers such low rate Kris?

As for school, why go to college, why not attend university? Sounds like money isn't an issue in your family.
