There is no rush for education. One thing I believe, you get what you pay for. Sounds like cars doesn't it? I am not talking about how much tuition you pay, I am talking about the quality of school and how much effort you put into your own education. You may be well off at such young age because your father is doing good finicially. But you gotta think the long run. Knowledge is what makes money, and no one can take it away from you.

If you have the energy, I suggest you finish the necessary courses and go for a university degree. You are an unique person not because what kind of car you drive, but what kind of person you are.

Good luck.

I am sorry but I am too old to understand the new education system.

As long as you have a goal for your life, and you know what you want out of your own life, that's good. Time goes by so fast I can't believe I entered university 10 years ago and now, I am working and saving money to get married.

Spend more time on education in your golden study age will make you gain more in the future.

Have fun and enjoy your post secondary school life.

N_D is totally right! since money is not a concern, go to univ. It's a great part of life if you make the best of it. Not just for education, but I mean... it's a real big part of growing up and moving away from the youthful mentality. College is like a big highschool. I dont' regret one bit of it, even though I really wanted to be a mechanic before. I can always buy and run a real nice shop later on... otherwise I'd be stuck working for some bastard or some chain (like CT or Walmart). Anyways, what's your dad do?

You welcome.

I have met so many rich kids when I was in school and a lot, I mean a lot of them just went to a crap school, got a diploma and that was that. Oh ya their parents were so loaded they probably left a **** load of money for them too when they die. Money can buy just about anything, but it can't buy friendship.

My family couldn't really support my education and if it weren't for my Grandpa, I probably won't be where I am today.

Poor kid with no goal = poor forever
Poor kid with a goal = a chance of turn around and become rich
Rich kid with no goal = going downhill and end up poor one day
Rich kid with a goal = continue to be rich, and knowing what it takes to become a rich person.

All I can say is wow.

I'm 20, and I can definately say my family is loaded bigtime, but man, if I ever asked my parents for insurance payments, nevermind the money for a S2000, WRX, whatever... AHHAHAHAHA

My parents would laugh in my face! You're 19!!!

There are things in life you must do on your own to gain a sense of self respect and responsibility.

Your best route would be to forget all this car **** until you have a degree. And a real ******* job.

(Sorry if I sounded harsh, I have no respoect for moochers)

And I agree 100% with Nova_Dust.

1. Poor kid with no goal = poor forever
2. Poor kid with a goal = a chance of turn around and become rich
3. Rich kid with no goal = going downhill and end up poor one day
4. Rich kid with a goal = continue to be rich, and knowing what it takes to become a rich person.

You're sounding like #3......

Tman, I think Aaron knows what he is doing, but maybe the car is really giving him a hard time so he want to get rid of it. That's cool.

But Aaron is going to be 20 soon, I think it is time he makes his own path and become a man that he is going to be for the rest of his life.

There is nothing wrong with asking the 'rents for a reliable car... but asking for a STi? Esp considering you crashed your SiR. I'd say you should be happy with like a Hyundai Accent... or Echo They are good cars, cheap on gas and will get you through school.

not even KG, who are multimillionaires (by work).

some of my family members, have doctorates in physics and medicine, and they are in the "above middle group".

B16A_SiR, sorry i cant comment on your situation, but by the choices of cars, i say go SUBARU

i am starting to dislike my car now and was wondering how much u guys and girls think that i can sell a 2000 SiR with 107xxx km's
depends on the condition of the vehicle... the amount of k's don't mean diddly sqwat if it's been maintained properly. I'd say about $12,000 if the car's in good shape.

BTW, go with the S2K!
