Warning ! Do not use credit cards or debit cards !
There have been a ring of corrupt people scamming customers at various Gas stations and stores across the GTA !
I have spoken to a securities officer today , and he told me that it is becoming more and more active.
The reason I posted this is because my card supposedly got swiped through a scanner within the past 3-6 months ! Luckily RBC called me to cancel my card !
Then today my mom told me that a gas station attendant at Bathurst + Lawrence Esso got caught for fraud ! Thats a gas station that we use sometimes ......My mom works at Imperial Oil and she asked the fraud + security department about this.

I only used my credit card for gas... NO MORE !
I use ESSO, and today I got Speedpass !
I think they should go back to the Olden days of just using cash !
Screw the cards and all the machines !

yes your right about change just disappearing ...but I find it's easier to take say 100 out of the bank and force myself to make it last the week instead of using the "magic plastic" everytime I feel the urge to by something /.....
best part about change is if at the end of the week I have any left it goes into the change jar... one day I'll roll the coins and go on a trip somewhere... like tot he bank to deposit them

it's all about using cash nowaday. my visa is paid off, and stays at home, i only use my bank card when taking out of the atms in TD branches, never in the single atms.
the world's full of scammers.
just a month ago, one weekend, there was a huge huge scam, for ppl that used debit in malls and such.
TD/BMO/Royal Bank. it was a major operation, they stole the pin#s, card info, made copy cards and wiped out accounts, then tried to deposit 1grand in the same account, slip in an empty envelope, and withdraw it. repeat xtimes.
the thieves took out from richmond hill, north york, sauga, and even as far as kitchener, london.
