i'd think you could hear a car peel out from a farther distance than a gun shot... only cuz cars peel out for more than a split second... and to be honest guns aren't nearly as loud as some people would think.... not pistols (which i'm assuming is what was used...)

yeah, gunshots aren't nearly as disturbing to the public as a loud exhaust. hell in the GTA alone, there were a 1000 exhaust related deaths.

my area is quiet .. i dont hear cars peeling out all the time .. especially 5am in the morning ...

if i was on my balcony at 5am .. i can gaurentee i woulda saw the whole thing go down ...
