that make you keep coughing cuz there's a little scratch in your throat?


I had a bit of a cold on monday/tues which is gone now, all except a cough that till like 10 minutes ago was pretty intermittent not a big deal, and now i just coughed for like 5 min straight... the whole damn floor came to see if i was dying or what the deal was, and i was coughing so bad i couldn't tell them i wasn't choking... so here i am trying to make hand motions that i'm fine and all these people are freaking out..

neways i got some Halls from a co-worker and that's working for now but i only have 5 left and that's gonna run out in about an hour..

SO ... what suggestions do you guys have to keep me from choking on my own spittle or tounge from raging bouts of coughing?

take a shot of rubbing alcohol....or just rub it on your throat, either way it works....

^^^I think this works. Something like Halls is the preferred, of course, but if that's not available, just having candy or sipping on water might help.

Check around the office to see if anyone has lozenges or hard candy to get you through the next little while. It's just a matter of keeping your throat calmed until you leave, right?
