The 6 is a lot nicer....the 5 is a sedan...6 a coupe Has center terminating exhaust too. Basically, hard to find parts for, not fast, not slow, old susp/bad handling....for that money there are 10 other cars I'd rather have.

Rob The Bruce.... is that a sentra SE-R you have? in your profile?

Personally cosmic, if you want the old-skool BMW styles, I'd do a 2002 model of about late 1970s vintage, or even better, a late 80s M3

Hahaha...didn't he say he had a 533 as well

What I said still applies...old, not too fast, not too slow. Badly need some updated rims and a lowering.

By the way, I used to dream of a 1974 M-B coupe, v8, 4 speed stick, on airbags and pimp 20 inch rollers, shaved body, in metallic money green with a Lexus white leather interior. And etched glass with some pimp roses. Yeah, I said roses etched into the glass like some old Florida senior in a Caddy

You guys need to keep in mind...look at the car for its potential, not for what it currently is. Like my Samurai is a pile of rust, but I see potential, and I know its gonna be spectacular when its done. Imagine this old skool bimma with a M3 power engine, supercharger, Bilstein coilovers, 17" Breyton rims, euro bumpers and lights, and some black/gray Sparco Torinos. Also ap brakes and a Remus exhaust...and maybe an old skool Kamei kit or something. drool; drool Mind you, that would be a 30K build up in parts alone.

Which equals an end result of a total waste on money!!

With that money you could have bought this car
which looks a billion times better and worth all of that cash you spent on it.

Holy misconceptions batman

BMW parts are more expensive but the older ones won't break your wallet and are very reliable, they can be made to go pretty quick

e30s handle amazing (my series 84-91 3 series) and are noted as being one of the best handling bmws, still.

I don't like 5er's or 6ers to much, but If you do want an old bimmer 3 series gets my vote

can u say torque? Ive got 171 stock... Driiiiiiiifffffffffffffffttttttttsssss rule

The concept of uniqueness and ingenuity obviously escapes you Here we find ourselves again.

Modification is to make something unique and different...not go out and buy a stock M3. You have no idea how many tech nerd/losers with money I see in M3s. IMO, the car cannot make a person....deep down inside, they are still the nerd that everyone made fun of in high-school. Look at Bill Gates...richest man in the world, and he still gets made fun of. Respect, you can't buy, my friend.

hahaha It's all good bbarbulo
I know what your saying but I must say that you are wrong on thinking that im that type of person. If you see my car you will know that the concept of uniqueness does not escape me at all. If you find one car that looks very similar to mine I will and take you out for some plus a little cash award for ya
I also have an old car (89) and spent all i've got on it to make it my own unique car which could have possibly bought me a 6th gen civic.
I just think spending over 30G's on an 84 bmw is insane. Just look at that beautiful car you can get for under 30g's. Im guessing you would take the 84 over the 97. You have to think about what your getting into, just the restoration fees on making it look like new again will cost you a lot of cash and imagine trying to sell it after you spent all of that money on it, you'll be loosing at least 80% of what you put into it.
