Oh and people that work on your team and "pretend" to know everything, but in the background they are always asking you how to do this or do that...........

We got a guy at work we call "The Postman" because some truly believe he is going to go postal and kill us all soon.

i've worked at an office for a full summer (may-sept) before, these are the things that pissed me off the most

1. The temperature is always freezing (our office was set anywhere from 15-20 degrees...yeah 15!)...and people are still hot..last summer i wore a sweater to work ..every..single..day

2. The stupidity of people; their ignorance to see the obvious or best solution to the most minute of problems

3. No sun, i mean it was a long winter and when the sun started coming out for spring people had the blinds closed so its just the retarded fluorescent lights you have to stare at all day

4. People in offices cant explain anything, to anyone, at any time.

5. The office job is what i hate about office jobs haha

...so can you tell, i will never work in an office again. I take that back, i dont mind it the odd time but if you have to spend mon-friday 7-3 in there...i'd rather be shoveling ****

The worst about it Alex, she is the only one on our team that has no clue, but when we are going about our day to day work, she will "try" to tell us how to do it...............that make any sense?

When women work together, sometimes there can be a very negative office dynamic...depends on the office, I suppose; I've worked with some of the most amazing people ever, as well as those in the opposite category!

It's amusing, reading what men go through, too...like an episode of Seinfeld: the close-talker, low-talker, high-talker, costanza...

That probably is one of the reasons that Seinfeld was a successful show--it based so many of it's characters on the foibles and idiosyncrasies of real people.

No, i've never worked in an office. Actually i've only had one job that was mainly indoors, and that was when i was in highschool. I know i wouldn't like being in the same spot all day long, i know i wouldn't like having to sit forever other then that i guess it would be alright, if it paid enough.

Gallagher, I think it would be just as bad open concept, then you have to see and deal with everyone else in the office all the time, no privacy!
