What was this guy smoking?
18 year old returns bank bag with $108,000
But when the 18-year-old custodian at Southern Utah University found more than $100,000 in cash in the school's parking lot last month, he didn't hesitate. He turned it in to campus police.
"I showed up about 5:45 p.m. and as I was walking in, I found a bag laying in the parking lot," Gray told The Early Show. "When I picked it up, I realized it was one of the deposit bags and it had $108,000 written on it."
Gray said his dad, a police officer, raised him to do the right thing.
School officials said the bag was accidentally dropped as it was being transferred from the school to the bank.
The Early Show did a little math to help Gray, who makes $7 an hour, figure out how long it would take him to earn $108,000. It comes roughly to 15,428 hours of work - that would be 7 1/2 years. Does Jared have any second thoughts?
"No," he says. "Of course not. My parents raised me to do the right thing always."
The college said if Gray wants to attend the school, they will foot part of the bill to show its thanks.
"And I got $20 and a batch of M. & M. Cookies," Gray added.

Here's your reward....20 bucks and a batch of cookies....woop-diddy-f.uckin-do.
First thing I'd do with that $108,000 in cash is rent a Ferrari for a week.

i would probably end up returning it as well.
what i would rather do is take it home and sit on it for a while, then use it for meals, drinks, that sort of thing. just use it to make life much easier, not to buy a car or put a downpayment on a house.
that sort of thing is easily tracked.

i'm talking about buying your computer in cash, your tv in cash, paying for your gas in cash, paying for cigarettes and drinks, always in cash, clothes, in cash.
cash is king.. cause the king can track what you're using it on!

i have no idea why the **** some people just assume that 100g lying on the street is expendable cash. obviously someone else needs that money, and it could go to far better use than a joyride in a fuhrarri.
it also makes me think... if you'd walk away with that 100g, that's stolen goods. that's big time if you're caught walking down the street with it, but if that considered you'd still take the money and run then it makes me wonder how hard it would be for you to justify stealing my car if it's just parked out in the street looking lonely.

i didn't realize returning missing/stolen goods immediately entitle the finder to a big reward. if i found your car in a parking lot and returned it to your driveway, would you give me a turbo?

I'd keep it in my room and spend it here and there, little amounts at time.
If I found a wallet or purse I'd return it right away.
No I wouldn't steal a car, get real man.
A bag full of cash.....it's a big corporations monies, and they have insurance to cover these losses. It's a tiny dent in their armour. Who cares?
I wouldn't think twice about taking a bag of money, especially if it belonged to a bank....they rape us enough as it is.

Its not surprising, good people still do exists, many times i have found money in convinient stores and gas station floors or car was depots, i always returned them, and 90% of the time the owners make me keep it, they say you found it you keep it, i tell them thats wrong, depending how im feeling when do find something like that after few minutes of back and forth the owners usually convince me to keep the found money, largest bill i ever found was $50.
this kid is right, its all about your up bringing, i had a friend in highschool in england who found a 500 pound note, and he returned it to the school, and the fuking school took it, schools are bastards.
