Harper hasn't done much simply because he has a minority governemnt. had we given the Conversatives a majority he would of been able to ram through all the changes he wants too. however ina minority government he has to consider only doing those things that will make the people love him and give him a majority next time... because if he does something that people hate they won't vote for him.

so let me get this straight

why did he make it so that they dont lower the flags and pay their funerals if they die?

whats the diff between soldiers and police officers that are doing the same crap with less risk on the roads in canada and getting all the funeral arangements???

and isnt that stupid to tax 15.5 for the lower income family or individual and tax less for the higher? that will just make the poor get more poor.

oh btw he also BRANDED THE

LTTE (Liberation Tigers Of Tamil Eelam) as a ********* group and any funds going to them from this country from a person considered aiding a ********* group.

WHICH PERSONALLY I THINK IS ****ING BULL****.

He needs to learn more about a group of rebels and what they are about before he goes and talks crap.

oh well the underground network will still continue it has been for 17 years and europe alone is sending 1 million euro every month thru the under ground network to aid the tamil people for shelter, clothing, food, etc...

I agree with the non-lowering of the flag. That was the tradition of the legions across Ontario and Canada. They are the past soldiers and they even say this is what is proper procedure. This way its not just lowered for some and not others. If this was the case, the flag should be at half mass the whole time, any Canadians are at war.

I think your getting HE mixed up with a whole bunch of people. He's like the president of the US. He has many people under him who make these laws and help him decide things. He mostly reprepsents our country.

okay... I will try to explain myself..

stephen harper is made up of many groups he has to talk to them all and consult them all before making any opinions. These are not always his idea's but he has to have votes and stuff to pass these laws.
Same as george bush, it works the same way.

harper had sex with your mom AND her sister then when he was ready to finish, he pulled off one of his socks, busted in it, then put it in your top drawer.

Harper's an incompetant politician and a poor excuse for a leader. He has already decided that he "can't" do anything without a Conservative majority so he couldn't b bothered working with the opposition, he'll just spend his whole time as PM bitching about the NDP, Liberals, Bloc, the media, etc...

Look at the vote over the Afghan deployment. He wouldn't answer direct questions the NDP had about the details. He just tried to push it through with "support the troops" and "what's best for Canada" spiel. I'll tell you what sucks for the troops, when your PM is so useless he can't convince more than half the parliament to vote for the troops.

I'm glad that we're rid of Martin, hopefully the civil service will undergo a thorough cleaning and we can get all the people who are too good at working the system out of there, but damn....

Stephen Harper sucks at politics and prefers to whine rather than lead.

so the GST was lowered, but now inflation is up, completely obliterating the point of that.

it was just an empty giveaway to look good but actually do nothing.

this harper guy thinks he's gonna run our country the way bush is running it down south, but uh.. bush is falling fast from a 29% approval rating.

already he's pissing off the fifth estate by ignoring the questions of reporters.. hey Mr Harper, YOU WORK FOR US.. you don't ignore questions because you don't feel like answering them. that is slimy and arrogant beyond belief.

what would you like to see him do?

i had a teacher who voted for whoever she thought was gonna lose to move to a minority government because she liked it best when the government did the least.. that explains why cretien was in power as long as he was.. don't do anything and you barely **** anyone off.

i'd like to see him kick some native rioter *** right now. i think we should send them back to their country if they don't like Canada.
